Wordless Wednesday – Independence Day Fireworks

In the U.S. July 4th is a time of celebration. Officially it is the anniversary of the publication of the declaration of independence; A celebration of our country’s independence from Great Britain in 1776.
Independence Day or “the fourth of July” is a time for many public events, parades and fireworks displays. Below is a YouTube video of this year’s fireworks display in Detroit. I didn’t have an opportunity to go this year, but enjoyed the recap from the video.

Do you have plans for celebrating Independence Day this year?
Happy Independence Day!

  1. We love going to see the fireworks and the parade! My only complaint is that it's usually so hot out. LOL

    Have a wonderful holiday. ☺
